I am Nkamo, a young girl aged 17 years old, who was defiled and, in the process, contracted HIV/AIDS, it was such a challenge to face the most two difficult problems. I was a teenage mother and HIV positive. After testing positive, I thought it was the end of life, I started being on denial, but after counselling and support from support group members. My eye opener was young teen who were born with HIV/AIDS, and they have accepted their situation and they are strong and living a positive life. I eventually through their support that I accepted myself and I am adhering to my medication. I have been given the opportunity to live a positive dignified life, with a suppressed Viral load.
